End of the Road
Well, it finally happened. Last Friday I received my Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media from Utah Valley State College (soon to be Utah Valley University ? yes, I get a new diploma next year that bears the new university status). I can’t believe my college career is finally over. I have been doing this for so long that it almost doesn’t seem possible.
There has been so much going on at the same time as this that I don’t think it has really sunk in. When you have three big, life altering experiences going on nearly simultaneously, you don’t have much chance to wrap your mind around any of them. I think that once we have the house purchased and we are moved in we can start to process some of this.
For now I am just excited to be a college graduate. Being able to come home at the end of the day and know that I don’t have any homework to do will be a great feeling. I can finally do all of the things that I wanted to do when I got home. Or, more accurately, I can finally do all of those things without any guilt about the homework I am avoiding.
