A personal note to The Wife on her birthday.

Today is your birthday and I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I love you and thank you for all you do. Let’s start with the thanks. Thank you for everything you do to take care of me and the kids. I fear that your service is often a thankless and tiring chore, your deserve more thanks and praise from me than I give you. I see how hard you work to make sure that everything is prepared at home. How you strive to teach the boys all those important things they will need to know throughout their lives. I see how you try to give each of us the one on one attention we crave. For all of this I thank you. You are amazing. You work tirelessly at all of these jobs and push me to do more. I admire and am in awe of the work you do and know that I could not do half of what you accomplish. So thank you from all of us.

I am a very blessed man, for you have enriched my life in so many different ways. You bring beauty to each day, laughter, and companionship. My life would be hollow and empty without you in it. Because of our love I have been blessed with my greatest treasures, our three beautiful boys. I look at them and I see us. Our love and hope for the future is all contained right there. I get a glimpse of our future together with these bundles of raw energy and enthusiasm and I know that we have many great times ahead of us. I love you more than my poor words can accurately express. You are the one I long to see each morning, the one I need to hold each night. You are my best friend, the keeper of my heart, and the only person I want to share my life with.

So I want to wish you a very Happy Birthday! I hope that this day is filled with happiness and love. I hope that you will know that I love you, the children love you, and we want you to have a spectacular birthday. Try to take easy today, this is your day and you’ve certainly earned a good rest. I can’t wait to celebrate your birthday with you and the family tonight and I look forward to many more happy birthdays together with you…ya hottie!
