When the MacBook Pro was unveiled at MWSF ‘06 I began to drool. I mean that is one mean machine. The name sucks, but 9 out of 10 is pretty good. Of course, like every other time Apple has updated the PowerBook I bagan to covet it. I wanted one, but knew that the acquisition was out of the question.
At least, it was out of the question until last week. That was when I found out that my department at school was going to begin requiring laptops for students. Starting Fall ‘06 we will have to get one for many of our classes. And the best part…if they make it a requirement, Finanacial Aid will give you funds to buy one. Of course, I am already imagining what kind of updates may be available by then.
The only problem is waiting for another 7 months before I can one. That sucks. But this fall I will be sporting a new MacBook Pro. Woot!
