MacBook, the Non-Pro Kind
Apple has released the much anticipated MacBook today. The Intel version of the iBook comes with surprisingly good specs. You can get it with a 1.83 or 2.0 GHz Core Duo which is higher than I expected. They now sport a 13” widescreen display and have Mini-DVI out with extended desktop capability. It does use the integrated graphics found in the Intel Minis but reviews of those Minis have been good so it shouldn’t be a major problem. Integrated iSight and FrontRow are included as is the MagSafe connector. Not a bad system at all.
Oh and you can get it in black too.
The MacBook Pros have been bumped from 1.83 to 2.0 and 2.0 to 2.16 as well. Fall is looking to be fun for me (that’s when I buy my MBP).
